  • Faculty: $100 by registration deadline of 9/15/17. $120 late registration – postmarked/paid after 9/15.
  • Students: $50 by registration deadline of 9/15/17. $65 late registration – postmarked/paid after 9/15.

We’re working to offer payment through PayPal for the 2017 conference. You can also pay when you check in at the registration table at the conference, though that will incur the late fee.

Harrah’s Hotel Reservations & Directions

Please reserve your room(s) BY MONDAY SEPTEMBER 26TH using this URL or phone number so the reservation is credited to WSKW and you get our conference rate. The group code is S10SKW7.

Note: it is free to book online using the link provided. To call-in, there is a $10.00 processing fee for using Harrah’s Central Reservations. The number is 888-726-6311 and the group code is the same: S10SKW7.

AFTER OCTOBER 1st, you can still make reservations; however, they will be at whatever the prevailing rate is. You will need to use the regular www.harrahsreno.com site or book through any third-party like Expedia. The reservation link above will not work after October 1st.

Getting to Harrah’s Hotel From the Airport

Harrah’s Hotel and Casino has a shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel which runs from the airport every hour on the hour starting at 5:00 a.m. and ending at midnight. It departs Harrah’s every hour on the half hour beginning at 4:30 a.m.

The shuttle can be found as you exit baggage claim, following signs to hotel shuttles.

The taxi rate is about $18.

Session Types

  1. Lecture-Style (20 minute & 50 minute sessions); for original research; projector & VGA cable provided
  2. Poster Presentation (50-minute session); for original research; will be mounted on wall; pushpins provided
  3. Round Table Discussion (20 minute & 50-minute sessions); for facilitated discussion of issues; projector & VGA cable provided
